Last year, Wassup Te won
Sibley Memorial Hospital's  “WARD INFINITY HEALTH INNOVATORS AWARD”
hosted by John Hopkins Medicine.

By creating a preventive healthcare chemistry set, 
“WT CHEMISTRY KIT” allowy children to better understand the importance of choosing healthier beverage options.
WT also created a visionary outline to tell a story compatible with data collected by the CDC, Johns Hopkins and ourselves on the best way to mpact healthcare in communities like our WARD 8 neighborhood. The data showed the most effective option was to create a health conscious and cultured inspired production around the history of sugar in relation to slavery, capitalism  and its detrimental impact on brown and black communities.
